This project tells the story of how GrowthX’s flagship learning program, Advanced Growth Strategy (AGS), evolved, from its early cohort days to a more scalable, tech-enabled product; alongside the Capstone and Mentor Club that complete its learning ecosystem.

The three pillars of learning experience
The three pillars of learning experience
At GrowthX, every learner’s journey through the AGS program program was anchored on three core pillars:
Consumption
Making learning easy to absorb, hard to forget.

Understanding the People, the Product, the Pulse
Context
When you join GrowthX, there’s one experience everyone talks about, the Advanced Growth Strategy (AGS) program.
A 4-week intensive that takes members through the full arc of growing a product, from acquisition to onboarding, engagement, retention, and monetisation. Each week blends concept deep dives, hands-on working sessions, and real product challenges designed to shift how members think about growth.
More than a course, it’s the heartbeat of the GrowthX community, a 4,000+ member network of founders, product leaders, and marketers who learn together, push each other, and turn ideas into real growth stories.

I began to lead the Learning Experience function for AGS, managing program delivery, interns, and cross-functional collaboration with mentors, program directors, tech, and design teams.
April 2024
1. Tech-enabled evaluation
Evaluation
Result
Cut feedback time from 7 → 3 days by centralizing submissions, grades & rubrics on platform.
Freed up team bandwidth and gave members earlier feedback for iteration.
Collaborated with tech team to store submissions, grades, rubrics and feedback on the platform, ensuring smooth member experience and admin usability.
2. Process optimisation
For team efficiency and output qulaity
Enabled scalable facilitation by creating feedback systems & SOPs that let program directors & interns deliver high-quality sessions at scale
RAG- Powered Chatbot
Result
Resolved 90%+ queries instantly, improved knowledge access and reduced manual query handling by 60%.
Designed conversational flow, curated and structured document data sources, and integrated contextual link-based responses for better UX.
Analyzed usage data and feedback to iteratively fine-tune the tone, expand retrieval coverage, and improve response accuracy by identifying recurring query patterns.
3. Raising the baseline: The Capstone Handbook
Consumption
Result
Teams started with more confidence, produced higher-quality projects (validated by mentor feedback), and had a strong head start from Day 1.
Problem:
Many members entered Capstone unsure about expectations, best practices, and what success looked like, leading to frustration and lower project quality.
I identified these gaps by observing where members struggled and speaking with subject matter experts.
Using learning design principles, I created a clear, practical guide with examples, analogies, and resources to set them up for success.
“That handbook is so good and I told my team leads that I’ll spend some time reading it before starting to interact with the team.” - Aravindh (mentor)
August 2024
1. Scaling Mentor Club
Result
Increased mentor availability, improved Capstone team experience, and strengthened mentor–member and mentor-mentor relationships.
Scaled mentor network 2X, created qualification criteria, onboarding processes, and a Mentor Handbook to standardise guidance.
2. Listening, learning, improving
Consumption
Evolved feedback forms to uncover real friction points, not just ratings.
Insights shaped pre-reads, resources, and live session tweaks, sharper explanations, more relevant case studies. Resulted in clearer, more engaging learning experience.
3. Designing for higher completion
Creation
Redesigned project briefs to feel less overwhelming.
identified common challenges, and created targeted resources to improve the project-solving experience.
Discovered product selection was a major time sink and built a “Product Selection Decision Tree” to help members start faster.
December 2024
AI powered feedback: Evaluation 2.0
Evaluation
Result
Cut feedback time from 3 days → instant, while delivering high-quality, personalised, structured feedback that members could immediately act on.
There was still scope to cut feedback time, and members lacked in understanding the why of the feedback.
Collaborated with tech team to integrate AI evaluation.
I worked on optimising rubrics and engineering AI prompts so the system could give accurate and personalised feedback based on the product type, stage, and industry and structured feedback (“what went well / what lacked / real-world impact / next steps”)

Exploring freemium version
To give new users a taste of the AGS experience and see it's value, this project began.
Led end-to-end planning: user research, audience segmentation, content mapping, platform delivery plan, and feedback loop.
Applied learner psychology and UX principles to adapt our flagship live program into a self-paced, project first format, with the MVP designed to ensure users got an early win by completing their project.
Worked with subject matter experts and creative editors to storyboard lessons, refine scripts, and make content engaging and easy to follow.
Collaborated with design and tech to build smooth flows.
Project was deprioritised due to strategic pivot.
June 2025
From live to self-paced
To help more people experience AGS without being limited by live cohort schedules, we shifted to a fully self-paced model.
In just a day, I built a course onboarding MVP using learnings from many live cohorts, guiding new members on the format, timeline, resources, and support available to make the best of this course.
I quickly adapted all communications and touchpoints so members could confidently navigate the product.
Set up Amplitude tracking for consumption patterns.

Some of the lessons I learned

Some of the lessons I learned
Especially because AGS was a live program, it was critical to think quickly and act fast as stakes were high. But the right quick decisions under pressure come from deep user people empathy.
How to ensure work is efficient and aligned with evolving business priorities- systemising processes not just for users but internal team, and documenting.
I realised that even when work gets put on hold or deprioritised, capturing what I learned lets me make the next attempt stronger and made the effort worthwhile.
Beyond the product, this role helped me in my personal life by strengthening how I communicate for a better understanding and collaboration.
